The sinker double top is almost done. The box is finished and the neck is near completion! The sinker looks awesome under the finish...

Is that bloodwood binding? I don't think I've ever seen binding so vivid red

Hesh, Sinker redwood comes from logs that were sunken in the river for over 100 years. Its now a banned wood as the removal of the logs would tamper with the newly developed eco-system within and around the logs. The wood is highly impregnated with minerals and as you can see the wood has now some very nice hues...
